Voor de Engelstaligen volgt hier z'n relaas:'Chaos in the town center,Tuesday 1445 guided by a high tech GPS an Austrian truck driver found himself in the town center from hell, Herentals. It is said there are more poles in the town centre of Herentals than in the average Polish village. These poles are not good news for 40 ton trucks that wish to turn down Lantern Pad to escape the centre, the truck could not make the turn without reshapeing the pavement outside the Druyts cafe. Straight on you say, yes logicaly yes but we have the Herentals wall trapping him on the north side of town (the Disapearing Poles).Ok, let's reverse and try again,no go! Motorists have followed him from the Belgielaan, and are now 10 centimeters from his rear bumper. All is not lost, two concerned citizens helped he driver to reverse the 10 meters or so needed to allow him to turn down the Zandstraat; here he was guided by two 'gemeente workers' along the Zandstraat and to the relative freedom of the Ring hoping of course he was not going towards the Chaos of the Primalux roadworks'.Foto en bericht: Tam DJ.
